Easter

The week before Easter the boys went to an Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They each got a bucket to put their eggs and treats in. Caleb was a champ and loved looking for eggs. Noah loved finding an egg and putting it in his bucket. He didn't really know how to look for the eggs, but he sure knew how to grab the ones we pointed out to him and put them in his bucket.

Caleb, showing us his Easter bucket.

Noah adding another egg to his basket.

The Friday night before Easter we decorated some eggs with the boys. Grandpa Kent came over to help. They really liked watching the eggs turn different colors. The boys chose a dinosaur egg kit to decorate the eggs and so after we colored the eggs we got to turn them into dinosaurs.

Caleb enjoying some after-dinner milk with Grandpa Kent.

The finished product: Dinosaur eggs!
Noah also enjoying an after-dinner, post egg-dyeing snack of warm milk.

The next morning we "hid" the eggs in the hallway and put the boys baskets in front of their doors. We figured hiding them wouldn't be as fun for them since they're still pretty young. Caleb has a clock in his room that glow yellow when he needs to stay in bed and then turns green when it's okay to get up. He loves waiting for it to turn green so he can run out of his room in the morning and tell us! Zack knew it was about time for his light to turn green, so he decided to video Caleb's response to his Easter basket.

Here's one more of the boys enjoying their candy, Caleb finding another egg and Noah deciding he didn't want to find anymore eggs.

Happy Easter!
